I am experienced with:
Eating Disorders
Trauma & PTSD
Gender Affirmative Care
Relationships & Sexuality
Body Dissatisfaction
I practice an experiential, trauma-informed approach to psychotherapy. I am trained in Sensorimotor and Psychodramatic techniques and employ embodied methods to help clients foster curiosity about their experiences and patterns. I aim to shift the symptoms that feel out of control by helping clients demonstrate their bodies’ innate ability to regulate itself.
I provide care from a gender affirmative perspective.
In practice, this means:
I believe gender is multi-dimensional and that variations in gender occur naturally.
I discard the notion that gender is exclusively binary.
I value diversity among gender identity, gender expression, bodies, and sexuality and do not pathologize gender.
I will respect your pronouns, take the time to really hear you, and address genuine safety concerns.
